This position will assist in the production of corrugated containers. It is a fast paced work environment that involves operating machinery to produce boxes, trays, displays, etc. Verification of product quality standards. Excellent attendance is a must. Ability to read and interpret a tape measure is required. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds on occasion. Previous manufacturing experience is preferred but not completely necessary.
Pay starts at $14.10 per hour with weekly bonuses. In addition to the weekly bonus, there is a $1000 hiring/retention bonus upon completion of 120 days of employment. Upon completion of a 50 day evaluation period, you will be eligible for a minimum raise of $1.80 per hour.
Overtime is required and normal operating hours are 10 hour shifts. This position will rotate shifts every 2 weeks between 1st and 2nd shift. 1st shift is 5am-3pm and 2nd shift is 3pm-1am.
We do not allow the use of tobacco products on the company premises.

Job Summary
Collects laboratory specimens from patients; performs routine laboratory tests; and performs various clerical duties.
Job Duties
Routine duties shall include providing health care services to individuals eligible for services in accordance with the self-governance compact and funding agreement between the Cherokee Nation and United States executed under the authority of the Indian Self-Determination and Education Assistance Act. Collects requested laboratory samples from patients. Performs routine laboratory testing on samples as directed. Assists in charting, filing, typing, and other routine clerical duties. Submits and receives specimens and reports to laboratories as needed. Cleans work area and maintains appearance of laboratory. Monitors stock and supplies and orders as needed. Maintains verifiable records at an institution or facility that has a published records retention policy that is equal to or exceeds the retention required by federal, tribal and/or state regulations. Maintains the confidentiality of any information received from any person or source about a client/patient, unless authorized in writing by the client/patient or required by law or court order. Complies with the applicable state and federal regulations in regard to the security, safety and confidentiality of any health services record created, maintained, transferred, or destroyed, whether the record is written, taped, computerized, or stored in any other medium.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
No supervisory responsibilities are required.

High school education; or general education degree (GED). Completion of a phlebotomy program from a technical school is preferred.

Prefer a Registered Phlebotomy Technician with the American Society of Clinical Pathologist. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within ninety (90) days of hire and maintained throughout employment.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENT
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and less than one year of specialized training or education. Must have completed the National Accrediting Agency for Clinical Laboratory Science approved phlebotomy program, or an acceptable formal structured phlebotomy program approved by the American Society of Clinical Pathologist as a prerequisite for phlebotomist technician, or have a minimum of one year full time experience as a Phlebotomist.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT
An additional three (3) months of experience is required.
COMPUTER SKILLS
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of database software, inventory software, order processing systems, spreadsheet software and word processing software.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Job Summary
Provides nursing care according to Cherokee Nation's policies, standing orders, and as ordered by the physician or mid-level in the ambulatory setting.
Specific to Jack Brown Center:
To plan, implement and coordinate prevention health programs and services to the client/students of Jack Brown Adolescent Center.
Job Duties
Routine duties shall include providing health care services to individuals eligible for services in accordance with the self-governance compact and funding agreement between the Cherokee Nation and the United States executed under the authority of the Indian Self-Determination and Education Assistance Act. Rooms patients. Takes and records vital signs. Screens patients according to Cherokee Nation's policies. Orders lab and x-rays according to Cherokee Nation's policies and standing orders. Administers medications, immunizations, and treatments according to standing orders, and/or provider orders. Operates a variety of medical equipment. Documents observations, referrals and nursing interventions according to CN documentation standards. Assists the provider with diagnostic, therapeutic, and surgical procedures and exams. Provides patient education and self management support. Obtains lab specimens as needed. Participates in ongoing quality improvement activities using the Model for Improvement. Participates as part of the care team. Maintains HIPAA compliance and confidentiality at all times and protects all personal health information as it relates to patient data. Provides Human Resources with a copy of all licensures, certifications, and renewals of licensures and certificates thereof. Other duties may be assigned.
Specific to Jack Brown Center:
Provides health education to students/clients at a minimum of four hours per week in health promotion and disease prevention issues (i.e. hygiene, tobacco misuse, alcohol abuse, drug abuse, sexually transmitted infections, family planning, etc) as required by regulatory agencies. Ensures that students/clients with communicable diseases are treated and return to daily activities as soon as possible. Coordinates vision, hearing, and dental screenings. Oversees student medication administration and ensures that the medication reconciliation system is utilized.
Specific to Cancer Care Case Management:
Reviews patient medical records to determine eligibility for grant and other programs according to applicable rules, regulations, and guidelines. Plans, develops, and implements assurance monitors for the designed grant or other program. Ensures validity, quality, and timeliness in grant and other program reporting submissions as required. Tracks and follows all patients receiving abnormal screening result(s) and in collaboration with the health care provider, assesses needs, issues, resources, and goals.
Specific to Purchased and Referred Care (PRC) Case Management:
Reviews patient medical records and PRC referrals to determine eligibility for program(s) according to applicable rules, regulations, and guidelines. Plans, develops, and implements quality assurance monitors for the PRC program as assigned. Makes inquiries to obtain alternate resources for services recommended for patients by provider. Consults with staff and multidisciplinary health care providers as necessary to facilitate appropriate decision-making in referral services. Screens authorizations and reports those exhibiting potential catastrophic cost to the appropriate party(ies). Enters orders as received by the Orders Management Team.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited practical nurse or vocational nursing program.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Must possess a license as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) from the Oklahoma Board of Nursing (OBN) or possess a multistate LPN license accepted by the OBN, no substitutions. Must be certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) and maintain throughout employment. Can be obtained during orientation. Must be certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and maintain throughout employment. If not certified, ACLS certification must be obtained within ninety (90) days of hire. A driver's license may be required to work in some departments. If so, the applicant/employee must possess a valid driver's license with a driving history verified through a motor vehicle report that meets requirements for Cherokee Nation underwriting rating. Must meet and maintain pre-employment and periodic background investigation and adjudication for child care.

Job Summary
Conducts a variety of laboratory tests and duties according to established laboratory procedure, and in compliance with Cherokee Nation Policies and Procedures, Rural Health Guidelines and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments of 1988 (CLIA '88), and Commission on Office Laboratory Accreditation (COLA) regulations, while working under the supervision of a Laboratory Supervisor and/or Laboratory Director.
Job Duties
Routine duties shall include providing health care services to individuals eligible for services in accordance with the self-governance compact and funding agreement between the Cherokee Nation and United States executed under the authority of the Indian Self-Determination and Education Assistance Act. Practices only within the boundaries of competence, based on documented education, training, supervised experience, state and national professional credentials, and appropriate professional experience. Provides health services of a scope, quality, and quantity consistent with Cherokee Nation policies. Collects laboratory specimens such as urine, blood, etc., and ensures these specimens are collected at the proper time and patients have received proper instructions and/or preparation. Determines adequacy, identification and appropriateness of specimens according to test procedures and the laboratory's specimen acceptance/rejection criteria. Performs specimen testing and prepares specimens appropriately according to test procedures being performed. Maintains integrity of specimens. Performs and documents quality control. Resolves technical problems and takes remedial actions whenever test systems deviate from the laboratory's established performance specifications. Ensures that patient's results are not reported until all corrective action has been taken and the test system is functioning properly. Calculates and arranges quality control data in a meaningful and concise manner. Operates and maintains laboratory instruments according to established protocols. Performs routine maintenance, calibration, and standardization on all instruments within an established time frame. Keeps accurate and up-to-date records of such performance and quality control checks. Recognizes any malfunction of instruments and take immediate corrective action to restore proper operation of the instrument. Notifies clinician when test results will be delayed. Follows all safety policies and procedures including but not limited to general safety, hazardous communication, Chemical Hygiene Plan and Blood Borne Pathogens. Adheres to professional ethical standards. Maintains verifiable records at an institution or facility that has a published records retention policy that is equal to or exceeds the retention required by federal, tribal and/or state regulations. Maintains the confidentiality of any information received from any person or source about a client/patient, unless authorized in writing by the client/patient or required by law or court order. Complies with the applicable state and federal regulations in regard to the security, safety and confidentiality of any health services record created, maintained, transferred, or destroyed, whether the record is written, taped, computerized, or stored in any other medium. Other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENT
Associate's degree from 2-year college or technical school in Medical Technology, Chemistry, Biology, or Microbiology, may be substituted by two years or more of undergraduate college course work.

COMPUTER SKILLS
An individual should have knowledge of Database software.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Must possess a valid driver's license with a driving history verified through a motor vehicle report that meets requirements for Cherokee Nation underwriting rating. Must be a registered Laboratory Technician with the American Society of Clinical Pathologists or American Medical Technologists or equivalent or registry eligible and must obtain registry within six months of hire and maintain throughout employment. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within ninety (90) days of hire and maintained throughout employment.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Must have a working knowledge of laboratory procedures and operation of laboratory instruments.
OTHER QUALIFICATIONS
Employee must not and will not be under sanction by the United States Department of Health and Human Services Office of the Inspector General (OIG) or by the General Services Administration (GSA) or listed on the OIG's Cumulative Sanction Report, or the GSA's List of Excluded Providers, or listed on the OIG's List of Excluded Individuals/Entities (LEIE).
Must meet and maintain pre-employment and periodic background investigation and adjudication for child care.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; sit and use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
