Retrain Tulsa provides services at no cost to households impacted by COVID-19 that live in the City of Tulsa or Tulsa County. Funding for Retrain Tulsa is made possible through the City of Tulsa and Tulsa County.

How do I qualify for Retrain Tulsa?
If you or your household have been impacted by COVID-19 and you live in the city of Tulsa or Tulsa County then you qualify.
What does impacted by COVID-19 mean?
Some of the ways that you may have been impacted by COVID-19 would be that you have been laid off, had your work hours or benefits reduced, had to take a job that didn’t match well with your skill-set or maybe the pandemic made you realize that you needed a career change.
Will I be disqualified because I earn too much money?
You will not be disqualified based on your income. Retrain Tulsa can help you regardless of your job, position or income.
Will my criminal background prevent me from being accepted into Retrain Tulsa?
No. Retrain Tulsa can help you even if you have been justice involved.
Is childcare provided for appointments and training?
Retrain Tulsa does not provide onsite childcare. If your childcare needs prevent you from receiving help from Retrain Tulsa, please let your Career Coach know and we will help you with our available options.
Do I have to be a US citizen?
You do not need to be a U.S. citizen to register with Retrain Tulsa. However, it is a requirement that you are authorized to work in the United States.
Do you provide transportation assistance?
Retrain Tulsa can provide you with transportation assistance. Please let your Career Coach know if you need such assistance.
What should I bring to my first appointment?
It is helpful if you bring your most recent resume to your first appointment.
What training do you offer?
Retrain Tulsa provides career enhancing training like resume writing, job interviewing and many other soft skills. We also have access to a wide range of technical training from our partners in I.T., Accounting, Manufacturing and Healthcare. Please schedule an appointment with your Career Coach to explore the many opportunities available.
Who teaches the training courses?
Our skills workshops are led by our internal team of knowledgeable trainers. We also provide access to technical training which is led by world class partner organizations.
Can I live in Broken Arrow, Owasso or Sand Springs, and still be enrolled in Retrain Tulsa?
